General Disclaimer
While Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC works tirelessly to provide thorough, clear and concise reports and summaries for each client; regardless of the case, we at NO TIME will act in a manner outside the legal limitations as set forward by West Virginia State Code - including knowingly trespassing on private property, agree to provide altered statements of fact, intentionally misrepresent our findings nor willingly provide any knowingly falsified documents, reports, etc on behalf of a client. All clients are required to sign a service agreement and waiver of liability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q - How much do your investigative services cost?
A - Costs vary based on the nature of your individual case. Each case is normally assigned one to two primary operatives, one in-field & one in-house, who work together to compile the most thorough file & summary of findings possible, more complex cases may however require assigning additional in-field operatives to achieve the best results. (Additional in-field operatives are billed at a reduced rate per hour)
Q - Is there a minimum fee or retainer deposit?
A - In short, Yes.
* All cases have a minimum billing rate of 10 hours. (You will be charged not less than 10 billable hours per case, regardless)
* Certain cases, such as infidelity, higher risk (cases of a criminal nature) etc, may require a NONREFUNDABLE retainer deposit of up to $500.00USD.
Q - What about additional costs?
A - Aside from your hourly billing, reasonable expenses incurred by the operatives or Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC are included in your invoice as they accumulate - reasonable expenses would include costs incurred retrieving copies of police reports, court records, hotel and travel expenses, etc.
Q - How does billing work?
A - On-going cases are billed by electronic invoice weekly - Our invoices are itemized, with a billing week being from 12a Sunday morning to 11:59p Saturday night, with all invoices (Retainers/ deposits excluded) being on a Net 10 basis ** Due within 10 days of service.
Q - What happens if I am late paying my invoice?
A - Unfortunately, invoices remaining unpaid by the end of business on the 11th day are subject to a 15% late payment penalty and, at the discretion of Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC, no further services shall be provided regarding the current case or future cases until the past due invoice is resolved. ** Once an invoice is noted as past due 30 days, Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC will pursue legal remedy asking judgement for the outstanding balance, all late fees, court costs and all other reasonable costs incurred due to collection efforts.
Q - Do you offer any guarantees?
A - In short, YES! Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC does guarantee that we will uphold the highest of ethical practices at all times, provide truthful, statements/ findings of fact and evidentiary materials (photos, affidavits, sworn statements, etc) regardless of the situation/ nature of the case.
Q - Do you accept every case?
A - Unfortunately, NO, each case is evaluated carefully by our investigative team to determine if we are able to provide only the highest level of service to perspective clients.
Q - What if the investigation doesn't provide my anticipated results?
A - An investigation is, by definition, just that - a collection and summary of information/ evidentiary material; the long and short of it is that when hiring a private investigator, you're asking them to collect this information on your behalf and provide a summary of their findings - that doesn't always turn out the way the client hopes. When you enter into a contractual agreement with Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC, you will sign or initial a clause indicating that you agree to accept their findings, regardless of the outcome of your case and remit payment in a timely manner in accordance to the terms of that agreement.
Q - Will you disclose to anyone that I hired you?
A - As a rule, NO! We do not disclose to private parties who has retained our services, we will however identify ourselves to law enforcement in the field if they engage us, and will only discuss your case with you or those parties you approve (attorneys, etc) and who have been included in a list supplied by you, the client.
Q - Can I call you and give you permission to discuss my case?
A - Absolutely NOT, in order to maintain full transparency and make sure that your privacy is protected to the best of our ability, as well as to mitigate liability risks, all approvals must be provided in writing, via either regular post/ direct delivery, or email (your email must be on file with Templar Strategic Solutions, LLC.
